A rich, malty aroma with a biscuity sweetness and fresh fruit notes. A delicate leafy character is balanced with vanilla sweetness. The palate is smooth and rounded, where warm vanilla oakiness from maturation in rum barrels meets caramelised fruit and soft, malty complexity.

In just a decade, it is estimated that more than 7,500 African rhinos have been lost to poaching.  
These majestic animals are killed in the belief that their horns can cure ailments. Composed 
predominantly of keratin, the same type of protein found in hair and fingernails, the horn holds 
no medicinal value whatsoever. 

The rarity of rhino horn serves to drive its price ever higher, increasing the pressure on dwindling 
rhino populations. Poachers are now being supported by international syndicates, with sophisticated 
equipment to track and kill rhinos.
 
The killing of these noble animals leaves countless baby rhino orphaned each year - and without 
intervention, they too will die. Rhino Whisky is a proud supporter of rhino conservation.
